Lookup mode

Debug mode makes no provider calls and needs no API keys. Turn it off to use the selected provider. New installations start with debug mode off.

Set limits within your provider allowance. Retries also count. This cap resets on the first day of each month in UTC; your provider’s billing period may differ. When capped or unavailable, the storefront permits purchase for the team to confirm.

Enter the credentials issued after DVSA approves your application. An API key alone is insufficient. DVSA authentication guide

Zyfy

Not configured

Zyfy can return a pending result for a previously unseen registration. The checker respects its retry delay before polling again.

Keys are encrypted in the backend and never returned to the browser. Leave a credential field blank to retain its saved value. Both providers can remain configured while you switch between them.

Test a lookup

Save settings first, then try the lookup used by the product block.

Debug plates: AB12 CDE = matched; NO00 FIT = rejected; NO00 REG = not found; ERR500 = provider failure; WAIT123 = slow response. Live vehicle identity does not by itself establish tracker compatibility.

Add the product block

In the theme editor, open your isolated product template. Under Product information, add Vehicle lookup & purchase from Apps, position it where needed, and remove that template’s original Buy buttons block to avoid duplicate purchase forms. Other templates keep their existing layout.

The app is developed on App Dev. Production installation and template activation are handled manually.
